(The specific solution.) If you haven't yet downloaded via mod manager, don't. You can google about installing F4SE if you're unsure about this, there are loads of info out there.Ģ. Normally this will be the latest version, although possibly not if you haven't recently updated Fallout 4. Make sure that you have downloaded the version of F4SE that matches your version of Fallout 4 (from ) in the Settings on the main game menu it will say in small letters at the bottom what F4SE you are running. More info: This mod requires another mod called F4SE. (A general step needed for the mod that everyone has pointed out.) Make sure that you've got F4SE. A more detailed answer below, more for noobs, which I was on this issue until before wasting F-knows how much time on it haha.ġ. The same solution may not work for everyone, but having tried all others this worked for me. I spent ridiculous amounts of time on this and didn't see the solution posted anywhere else online. Simple answer: If place everywhere doesn't work when installed via mod manager (which it never does for me) then fully uninstall from mod manager and install the mod manually. If you put it in the location YOU posted, then THAT'S the problem. Steam/Steamapps/common/Fallout 4/Data/F4SE/plugins/ I'm using the same version of the mod as you, but I haven't tried completely uninstalling it from NMM yet. Place.ini is supposed to be in Steam/SteamApps/common/Fallout4/Data/Plugins if I read all the material I did correctly. I did not see a Plugin folder or a place.ini in my setup I inspected under "Steam\.\Fallout4" and also under "Nexus Mod Manager\Fallout 4" and "My Games\Fallout 4". I don't use the Homemaker or No Settlement Attacks mods, but I have about ~90 other mods, all managed from the NMM. Just to confirm, this is the mod that I use: But today I removed the old version of the mod (via NMM), updated the mod to 1.10.26, installed the new version, and it's OK now.
